The founders of the celebration wanted to provide the community with a close to home way to celebrate our nation's birthday. The Canonsburg Fourth of July celebration is a well known and well established event. Patriotism is the order of the day. The streets are lined with American and Pennsylvania flags. The patriotic music and floats set the tone of the day. It is easy to see that everyone in Canonsburg is proud to be an American. Both young and old celebrate our nation's birthday.
